On America in 2026.

On this day of July 4, 2026, we have reached the milestone of the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. People have eaten foods in barbeques, used fireworks, eat hot dogs, marched in various parades nationwide, and learned about American history in unique ways.

As a Virginian, our story is certainly related to American history as all Americans are, irrespective of where they are born. It has been a long journey in America. We went from people traveling in horses to witness pass jets that can travel in thousands of miles in mere hours. Also, we have to believe in the true history of America. To this day, many people believe in three pernicious myths. The first myth is that we must minimize our African heritage as African Americans. Africa is the land of the origin of humanity in general. As a black American, when I took DNA tests, it confirms that most of my DNA came from Western and Central Africa. Therefore, any that curses the roots of their origin (being in Africa) is a traitor to the truth (many self-hating black people now refuse to acknowledge their African ancestry but consider themselves solely American without mentioning their African origin or solely Native American which is very disgraceful. Africa has many blessings made by God, and Africa should never be disrespected unjustly for self-hating scheming movements). So, I am never ashamed of my black African ancestry and my black African heritage as a black American. When the Declaration of Independence was signed, my people were enslaved by the same racist system that bashed Africa. Now, this same system lies about Africa and the beauty of Africa, and you have some self-hating black people (like Dane Calloway who believes in the lie that Nat Turner and Harriet Tubman never existed when we have living descendants or relatives of both people living now. We have documents and other historical evidence confirming their existence. Dane Calloway is known for his anti-African and historical revisionist lies) doing the same unfortunately in various movements. The second great lie is that every Framer were holy men and created the Constitution to help humanity out. The reality is that many Framers were degenerates who enslaved black human beings and promoted the myth of white genetic supremacy like Thomas Jefferson (and Benjamin Bannenker wrote a note to Jefferson refuting the ideals of white racism conclusively). The third myth is that since many Framers were stone cold racist and wicked men, we must somehow glorify the British Empire. The British Empire allowed the murder of millions of people worldwide, even in the 19th century and the 20th century. The concept of authoritarian monarchy is antithetical to not only democracy but eternal truth. Therefore, we should know the reality of our American history. That history starts with Native Americans.

Native Americans made tons of contributions from agriculture, mathematics, art, and other confines of human culture. Later, European imperialism caused millions of Native Americans to die via genocide. This genocide was so vicious that more than 90 percent of their lands today are gone and not owned by them in both Americas. Black people were in the Americas long before the Mayflower. Black people were in America the 1500s, the 1600s in Virginia, and beyond. Black slavery and Native American genocide were the two great sins of America's origin.

The American Revolutionary War caused America to be a nation. Colonists rebelled against the British Empire to seek representation in the British legislature. King George III refused to give colonists representation. My black people were on both sides of the American Revolutionary War to seek freedom from bondage. This war caused America to grow at the expense of the rights of tons of people. That is why black people, and people of every color had to fight to expand rights that should have been ours by birthright to be a reality in American law. America didn't voluntarily give equality to black people, women, Latino people, Asian people, Native Americans, etc. America had to pass progressive legislation kicking and screaming from the 13th to 15th Amendments, the Amendment giving women the right to vote, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Voting Rights Act of 1965, and other labor rights protections that resulted in many blessings (these laws and policies should be enacted in our society) in America but still not true liberation for us. After all of this time, we have made some achievements from minorities having more opportunities and economic and cultural growth. The problem is that we are not free yet. For example, to this day, innocent unarmed black people are murdered in the streets, diversity programs are banished, books bans exist even in public library, ICE continues to harass citizens and immigrants (of any status), we have racist "Patriot" groups of people marching in D.C. in 2026, economic inequality has grown since 1968, and we still have systematic racism (as documented by tons of sociological studies like black people with a college degree having a harder time finding a job than white people without a college degree).

We have seen massive accomplishments made by Americans like the defeat of the Nazis in WWII, the 1969 travel to the Moon, the Human Genome Project, and the 2026 Artemis I mission that allowed astronauts to travel the farthest in space in human history, and other monumental deeds. Yet, we have a far way to go, because we are still fighting racism, economic inequality, sexism, xenophobia, and other evils. We have a Supreme Court who did the right thing to preserve birth right citizenship but created other terrible decisions too. That is why we should have our joy and be about the business to stand up for our liberty too. We certainly honor our black ancestors who sacrificed their lives so we can live in this 21st century and the third millennium.
