A Summary of the 2022 World Track and Field Championship at Eugene, Oregon.

The 2022 World Track and Field Championships event has been very inspirational and exciting. There is a lot of news coming about during the 2022 World Track and Field Championship in Eugene, Oregon. The winner of the women's marathon is Tamirat Tola from Ethiopia with a time of 2 hours 5 minutes and 36 seconds which is a record for the world championship. Her compatriot Mosinet Geremew took second with 2:06:04 and Bashir Abdi from Belgium was a bronze winner with 2:06:48. As for the men's 100-meter race, the United States of America had a sweep. Fred Kerley won gold with a time of 9.86 seconds. Marvin Bracy-Williams was second, and Trayvon Bromell was third with a time of 9.88 seconds. Kerley was emotional in thinking about his aunt Virginia Kerley from Texas. As for the women's 10,000 m final, Letesenbet Gidey of Ethiopia won gold with a record time of 30:09:94. Second and third were the Kenyans of Hellen Obiri and Margaret Chelimo Kipkemboi. Obiri was a two-time world champion and 2-time Olympic medalist. Allyson Felix bronze in the 2022 Eugene World Track and Field Championship for the mixed relay of 4 X 400 m relay. This adds to Allyson Felix's legacy as one of the best track and field athletes of all time. The American Chase Ealey won gold in the shot put. As for the hammer throw for women, Brooke Anderson won gold for America, Camryn Rogers won silver from Canada, and Janee Kassanavoid of America won bronze.

Now, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce won the gold in the 2022 World Track and Field Championship of the women's 100m with a time of 10.67. Shericka Jackson won silver in the race with Elaine Thompson winning the bronze. Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce (who has raced professionally since 2007) is probably the greatest 100m sprinter in history, and she is 35 years old. She has her 5th world track and field title. Congratulations to Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce, Shericka Jackson, and Elaine Thompson. It has great historical significance because it is the first track and field World Championships taking place in America (in Eugene, Oregon which is one capital of track and field athletics in general). The events took place at the University of Oregon Hayward Field. Noah Lyles won gold in the men's 200m with a time of 19.31 (being the third greatest time in history), Kenny Bednarek won silver from America, and Erriyon Knighton won bronze from America too. For the women's 200m, the gold medal was won by Shericka Jackson from Jamaica with a time of 21.45, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce won silver with a time of 21.45, and the UK's Dina Asher-Smith won bronze too. Shericka Jackson was very gracious and humble in her victory to speak the praise of Flo Jo too. Dina Asher-Smith is already an icon of track and field from the United Kingdom.

America's Katie Nageotte won the women's pole vault in gold, Sandi Morris from America won silver, and Nina Kennedy of Australia won bronze.  For the women's triple jump, Yulimar Rojas won gold from Venezuela (with a score of 15.47m. She is an athletic legend from her nation of Venezuela), Shanieka Ricketts from Jamaica won silver (with 14.89 m), and Tori Franklin from America won bronze with a score of 14.72m. For the women's shot put, Chase Ealey of America won gold with 20.49m, Gong Lijiao from China won silver with 20.39 m, and Jessica Schilder of the Netherlands won bronze with 19.77m.

The 2022 World Championships in Eugene, Oregon has easily proven to be one of the greatest track and field events in history. People are still talking about the record-breaking race of Sydney McLaughlin of America finishing gold for the 400m hurdles. Her time of 50.68 seconds was incredible, and she is only 22 years old. She can go under 50 seconds. Many legends have praised her like Michael Johnson and Allyson Felix. Silver for the women's 400m hurdles goes to Femke Bol of the Netherlands (with a time of 52.27 seconds), and bronze for the woen's 400m hurdles goes to the American Dalilah Muhammad, who is a legend in her own right (with a time of 53.113 seconds). For the women's high jump, Eleanor Patterson won from Australia, Yaroslava Mahuckhikh won silver from Ukraine, and Elena Vallortigara won bronze from Italy. As for the 400 m women's race, Shaunae Miller-Uibo of Bahamas won gold with a time of 49.11, Marileidy Paulino won silver from the Dominican Republic with a time of 49.60, and Sada Williams from Barbados won bronze with a time of 49.75 seconds.

The legacy of the 2022 World Athletics Track and Field Championship is truly incredible. It was one of the greatest World Track and Field Championships that I have seen in my life. Records were broken among many sports during the duration of the events. America won 33 total medals including 13 gold, Ethiopia won 10 medals, and Jamaica won 10 medals too. From July 15-24, 2022, at Eugene, Oregon at Hayward Field history was shown. Legends shown some of their last races, and a new generation of track and field athletes shown up to take their places among the icons of athletics. The world records include Syndey McLaughlin running 50.68 seconds in the 400m hurdles final, Robi Amusan of Nigeria having 12.12 seconds in the 100m hurdles finals, and Armaud Duplantis of Sweden reaching 6.21 meters in the pole vault men's competition. In the men's 400m. Michael Norman finally had gold for America in 44.29 seconds, Kriani James from Grenada had silver with 44.48 seconds, and Matthew Hudson-Smith from Great Britain won bronze with 44.66 seconds. For the women's 800m, Athing Mu won it with gold from America, Keely Hodgkinson won silver from Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and Mary Moraa won bronze from Kenya. Athing Mu is very young, and she already won four gold medals in less than 5 years.

For the women's 4 X 100m relay, America won gold with Melissa Jefferson, Abby Steiner, Jenna Prandini, and Twandisha Terry. Terry celebrated greatly. Jamaica had silver, and Germany had bronze. For the 4 X 400 m relay race of women, America won gold with Talitha Diggs, Abbe Steiner, Britton Wilson, and Sydney McLaughlin. McLaughlin and Wilson ran incredibly fast in that relay. Sydney McLaughlin continues to add to her legend as being one of the greatest track and field athletes of our generation in the 2020s. Silver was won by Jamaica, and bronze won by Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Canada won the men's 4 X 100m relay, with America with silver, and Great Britain and Northern Ireland winning bronze. For the 4 X 400m men's relay, America won gold, Jamacia won silver, and Belgium won bronze. For the long jump, Malaika Mihambo won gold from Germany, Ese Brume won silver from Nigeria, and Letica Oro Melo from Brazil won bronze. For the shot put for men, Americans all won like Ryan Crouser with the gold, Joe Kovacs with silver, and Josh Awotunde winning bronze.

We know what the elephant in the room is. That is that our people have shown out in those games.

Words on Black Unity.

Yvette Carnell's self hatred is real. Now, she is criticizing an U.S. flag with the red, black, and green colors on it. She is part of the ADOS cultic movement (and Yvette said that Black is a white supremacist construct which is a lie and outright disrespectful of her as Black is Beautiful) along with her friend Antonio Moore. Both of their hatred and scapegoating of Africa is silly but not unusual. Carnell said the self hating lie that we don't have to be anchored to the Motherland of Africa. As a black American, I am always anchored in Africa for life, because my ancestors came from Africa. God created Africa for a reason, and black people have blessed the human race since the start of human history. Our African American history existed long before enslavement. Jewish history existed for thousands of years just like black history. You will notice how Carnell and Moore don't talk about comprehensive solutions except reparations primarily or talk about wealth gap information. I agree with reparations for black Americans, and I agree that we must address the wealth gap, but a solution is more than reparations. We have to enact political and economic policies that deal with poverty, health disparities, education, imperialism, and other real issues in our communities. ADOS' Afrophobia among many of its members is revolting and outright encompass mental slavery. The fact to refute both of them is that African Americans, Afro-Caribbeans, Africans, and other black people of the African Diaspora united to fight for freedom for centuries. Here are some examples:

1. Kwame Ture was Afro-Caribbean who stood up for Black Power and black liberation

2. Denmark Vesey was Afro-Caribbean who fought for liberation against slavery in South Carolina

3. Many of African American people centuries ago came as slaves from the Caribbean and then into America.

4. Malcolm X's Mother is of Afro-Caribbean descent. Edgar Toppin, Marcus Garvey, & Shirley Chisolm are all of Afro-Caribbean heritage too.

5. The Gullah-Geechee culture in the Carolinas have Caribbean and African roots. The way black people worship in the church have the African call style. Many of the foods that black Americans eat like gumbo, watermelon, collards, black eyed peas, corn bread, yams, etc. have African or indigenous roots.

6. Author Hurston always studied African folklore to create some of the greatest literary works of the 20th century.

7. South African jazz pianist Abdullah Ibrahim was influenced by Duke Ellington. His daughter is one of the greatest lyricists of hip hop named Jean Grae. Tons of the founders and innovators of hip hop are Afro-Caribbean people.

8. American jazz trumpeter Donald Byrd admitted that in the song "The Black Disciple" he sourced the rhythms in that song from archived recordings of music by a tribe in Congo.

9. Black immigrants globally worked with us African Americans in the abolitionist, civil rights, Black Power, anti-apartheid, and current freedom movements for a long time.

10. Dr. King and Malcolm X readily visited Africa to celebrate African independence among many nations plus promoted black unity globally.

*Only an agent would shun our African connections. A real person would celebrate our African roots.

BLACK LIVES MATTER.
