Trump's First 100 Days in His Second Term.

We live in both challenging and hopeful times in our history. Many of us are blessed to see both the 20th and 21st centuries like I have. Now, I am in my early 40s almost having lived on this Earth for almost half a century. That is surreal and exciting at the same time. I still have the acuity, the vigor, and the determination to advocate for justice as I have when I was in my 20s and 30s. We have been here for more than 100 days since the second and thankfully the last term of Donald Trump. I have lived through Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, Bush Jr., Obama, and Biden, but I have never seen anything like this today in 2025. That's a real assessment to make in my eyes. Our democracy could be gone completely by next year, and I'm not being hyperbolic. That is why we should never give up or relinquish our duty to stand up for our freedoms that our ancestors fought and died for. Many courts, including the Supreme Court, tried to stop Trump's tyrannical actions, but we also have to use our power to defend our democracy too. We have hope as mass protests against the Trump agenda continue to exist in cities, towns, suburbs, etc. in America. The government has the 3 co-equal branches of government: executive, legislative, and judicial. The executive branch has no right to illegally usurp the powers of the two other branches of government. For our posterity, we have to document the corrupt, bad, and evil policies of Donald Trump in his first 100 days of his 2nd and hopefully final term in office. Here are these policies:

1. The Trump administration has illegal seized students in various universities who were no terrorists. They express dissent with Israel's far right government, and they have defended the human rights and human dignity of Palestinian people. It is important to note that many Jewish people support the human rights of Palestinian people too. Trump has publicly desire to annex Canada, Greenland, the Panama Canal, and Gaza.

2. Trump has threatened to deport many U.S. citizens classified what he deemed as "homegrowns."

3. The Trump administration desires to defund PBS and NPR, which is illegal.

4. The Trump regime has tried to intimidate universities to promote Trump's version of history, including whitewashing America's true history. Harvard is currently suing the President over Trump's threats to get rid of Harvard's tax-exempt status. There is a 1998 law that prohibits the President from directing the IRS to audit taxpayers. Justice Jackson is right to say that Trump's attacks on judges are designed to intimidate the judiciary.

5. Trump has pardoned the January 6th insurrection terrorists who assaulted police officers, said racist slurs, spread excrement on U.S. Capitol grounds, and tried to hang former Vice President Mike Pence.

6. Trump has personally threatened to arrest Liz Cheney, which is illegal as Liz Cheney legally promoted a commission to oppose the January 6th insurrection.

7. Trump has allowed DOGE to illegal monitor Americans' personal records, fire federal workers unjustly without just cause, and wants to cripple legitimate social programs that has helped the poor and the oppressed for years and decades.

8. Trump and his acolytes have said that the top holder of cryptocurrency would win a dinner with him. Trump gained nearly $900,000 in trading fees.

9.Trump has intimidated many law firms to make a deal to capitulate with his agenda in exchange for those law firms to coddle the Trump administration.

10. Trump has used anti-DEI attacks not to promote equality but to whitewash history, ban books, erase words on black history on federal websites, and seek to target museums that promote African American culture. Trump wants to ban the 14th Amendment's legal principle of birthright citizenship for xenophobic reasons.

11. Trump has passed dozens of executive orders that cut legitimate environmental regulations, dismantled public agencies, and seek to dismantle the Department of Education (which is headed by Linda McMahon, who has lax educational administrative experience). Trump has promoted massive cuts to the NIH involving health research. Trump targeting the media also is egregious too.

12. Trump allowed the illegal deportation of Kilmar Abrego without due process of law. The Supreme Court has ordered Trump to send Abrego go back to America from El Salvador. Trump has refused to do so in open defiance of the Supreme Court. Trump is a tyrant, and I won't sugarcoat my language. Trump has no right to use war powers (when we aren't in war) to seize people without due process of law. Any Trump supporter is a defender of fascism period.
